Welcoming new citizens of the Chomedey district

Chomedey’s officials have extended a unique welcome to new residents of Chomedey. Residents who visited the Laval internet site were able to register for an open house visit to city hall. The welcoming event was scheduled for Saturday September 24th 2011, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at City Hall. The days’ agenda included meetings with city officials as well as the Chomedey municipal councillors. During this day invitees were able to socialize with other people from their districts, receive information from agents from various municipal departments as well as visit the city multiservice counter. Children were welcomed as many activities like face painting, reading under a tent, and other surprises were organized for their benefit.
