Professional engineering services for Police Headquarters

The engineering consulting firm BPR was mandated by the city legal department to aide it in an eventual legal action against Groupe Axor incorporated. The Groupe Axor inc. was responsible for the ventilation system part of the construction of Laval’s police headquarters which is located north of the 440 on Chomedey and St, Elzear Boulevards. That system has been fraught with many breakdowns and inadequacies that have not been resolved to the tenants of that building’s satisfaction.
Therefore the firm BPR was asked to provide an expert technical evaluation of the state of the ventilation system and an evaluation of its operating capacity as part of the claim against Axor the city legal department is preparing, Since this expertise is required as part of a legal action the contract did not have to awarded via a public tender. The cost of the service is $926.13 taxes included.
