Engineering director to participate in Infrastructure Congress

The 17th edition of the urban infrastructure week-Infra 2011 will be held from November 7th to 9th 2011at the Hilton Hotel in Quebec City. This event which is organized by the Centre for Research and Expertise in Urban Infrastructures (CERIU) will bring together specialist in the field to discuss urban development matters pertaining to this years’ theme entitled; infrastructure is an inescapable support for municipal revitalization. Participants will discuss actual strategies and technical methods used to efficiently and cost effectively renew decaying municipal infrastructures.

The director of Laval’s engineering service would like to benefit from this expertise and has asked to attend this congress. Considering that this event is an admissible activity for the development of human resources credits required by law for all institutional employers the executive has approved the request and assigned a budget of $870 taxes extra for the cost of room, board and meals. The event is free of charge for all participants.
