    Latest Laval Firemen’s Fest a great success

    Despite less than promising weather on some days, several thousand people still couldn’t resist coming out from May 31 to June 2 for the 2012 Laval Firemen’s Festival.
    Held by the Association des pompiers de Laval in conjunction with the city at the Centropolis, the festival offered a wide variety of activities.

    Keeping city clean is a community effort

    In order to restore the City of Laval to its normal lustre following the winter, an annual spring cleanup will be taking place for the 21st year. Organized by the city since 1993, this is a big community cleaning effort that will be happening from April 22 to 28 as part of Earth Day activities.
