Dessau Pursues Growth in Ontario

Laval-based Dessau Inc., one of Canada's largest engineering-construction firms, has just announced the acquisition of two Ontario firms: Atkinson, Davies Inc., a London firm that works in geotechnical and environmental engineering, and Premier/Levaque, a Milton-based company that specializes in roofing and building envelope consulting services.

With 30 employees, the firms will become part of LVM, Dessau's largest subsidiary, which employs over 1,300 people and provides geotechnical, materials and environmental engineering services. In Ontario, Dessau and LVM have a combined total of more than 200 employees working in nine locations.
