SIR WILFRID LAURIER SCHOOL BOARD appoints Mr. Robert Vallerand as Interim Director General

The Sir Wilfrid Laurier School Board (SWLSB) is pleased to announce the nomination of Mr. Robert Vallerand as Interim Director General.
Mr. Vallerand's nomination was confirmed by a unanimous decision of the Council of Commissioners this evening, following the resignation of the former Director General, Mrs. Anne-Marie Lepage. He will remain in post until a permanent successor is selected.
The Council is confident that Mr. Vallerand will to rise to the challenge during this transition period. From 1998 to his retirement in 2006, Mr. Vallerand served as both SWLSB's Assistant Director General and Secretary General. The Council of Commissioners feels strongly that he is the right person to maintain the SWLSB spirit all while managing a smooth transition.
